ASSOCIATION NEWS AND EVENTS

As winter settles in at Buck Lake, we embrace the quiet beauty of the season. Snow-covered landscapes, crisp air, and frozen shorelines bring a different kind of tranquility to the lake. Whether you’re enjoying peaceful walks, ice fishing, or simply admiring the winter scenery, this season offers its own special moments.

As the days slowly grow longer, we look ahead to the promise of spring and the return of warmer days. Until then, we hope you continue to enjoy all that Buck Lake has to offer, no matter the season.

We’d also like to remind any members who do not yet have a Buck Lake Guide and would like a printed copy to email us at BuckLakeAssoc@nullgmail.com, and we’ll be happy to arrange getting one to you!

Winter Fest ’25

Join us for fun, friendship, and food at Winter Fest ’25 on Sunday, February 23rd! The Buck Lake Association will be providing sausages and hotdogs, fires to cook them on (and to keep warm beside) as well as activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Please bring your own chairs, beverages, and personal safety equipment so that we can all have fun as well as be safe out on the lake. People skating or playing hockey should wear helmets, and we suggest anyone participating in other activities on the lake bring spikes for their shoes or boots.
You are also encouraged to bring a stick for roasting on our open fires, sleds, and fishing equipment if you would like to fish or show other people how to!
We can’t wait to see you at Hidden Valley Campground, 1021 Hidden Valley Lane from 1 to 4pm!

The Buck Lake Guide!

We are excited to share a resource that we created for visitors, renters, and property owners – the Buck Lake Guide. Members of the BLA and residents on the lake can get a physical copy but we also want to make it available for everyone – so it is available here on a website by clicking on the image of it below.
We have begun distributing the Guide to members so please contact us and we will get one to you via our directors. Regrettably we need to inform you that physical copies of the guide will have some links that do not work already, as South Frontenac Township has updated their website and changed some of their links. The version on our website has been updated to include any of the changes.
